Warranty, Extend Service Option and How much does a service visit cost?
For our residential customers:
Liberty wants to ensure you are are receiving the best possible security and home automation services. So we offer all residential customers an Extended Service Option (ESO) at NO ADDITIONAL MONTHLY FEE that covers: service, labour and equipment replacement in most instances. ESO only applies to security sensors, the control panel, and extra keypads. It DOES NOT INCLUDE warranty for parts and labour on any Smart Home, Automation, Video, Speciality devices or batteries for security sensors.
Whether ESO is selected or not, a $50.00 service trip charge may apply for any visit made to the Customer’s premises.
The warranty and ESO do not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, faulty connections, tampering, construction, vandalism, theft, acts of God, cosmetic damage, fire, or any other cause other than normal wear and tear. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors should be replaced as per the manufacturer's standards. Replacement is not covered under ESO warranty.
Outside of the original term, there is a $50 trip charge, as well as $95/hour labor and any part costs associated.
Please note that Acts of God and renovations are NOT covered under warranty at any time.
