Smoke/Heat Detector - Powering down the SDX smoke detector

The SDX Smoke Detector has built in batteries that are estimated to last up to 10 years and cannot be changed. However, to prevent false alarms from the device, you may need to power it down. Watch our video to learn how.

You will need: (1) x small flathead screwdriver

Got a smoke alarm going off that does not look like this? Check to see if it is our other model (the TX-6010-01-1). If not, it may be an older detector that was installed in your house prior to getting a Liberty system.
