Warranty, Extended Service Option and How much does a service visit cost?



Smart Security Replacement devices will be charged at $35 per point.
*repair trip fees are covered for the first 180 days after installation
**labour cost for first move is free

The warranty does not cover battery replacements, damage caused by misuse, abuse, faulty connections, tampering, construction, vandalism, theft, acts of God, cosmetic damage, fire, or any other cause other than normal wear and tear. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors should be replaced as per the manufacturer's standards.  Replacement is not covered under warranty. All service requires the customer to be in good standing.

Extended Service Option: 
If you have the Extended Service Option (ESO), Liberty will extend the warranty for as long as monitoring service is provided by Liberty and you are current on all payments. ESO only applies to security sensors, control panels, and extra keypads. It does not include warranty for parts or labour on any automation, video, or specialty devices or batteries for security sensors. ESO is available to residential customers only.
